:: I have over 15 years experience in design, advertising, digital and through-the-line agencies in Auckland, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore (including EURO RSCG HK, George Patterson Bates AU, Publicis Mojo, The Worldwide Marketing Store and Medicus, Leo Burnett’s Pharmaceutical division).
:: I was a co-founder and creative partner of a small but up-to-date creative agency. I wore many hats as the agency grew like Strategist, Client Service, Project Manager, Studio, Traffic and IT Manager, Print and Digital (UX, UI) Designer, Animator, Videographer, Print Producer, Finished Artist and Social Secretary. I helped win a good mix of local, regional and global clients. With intelligent strategies based on customer insights and human behaviour and carefully crafted creative across multiple touchpoints I helped our clients win record results.
:: I have built, run and led creative departments and art studios. I briefed out jobs and collaborated with a team of (in-house and freelance) designers, writers, retouchers, developers, editors, animators, 3D artists, photographers, camera crews and other creative specialists. Trafficking their work, and directing and mentoring the juniors. I know how to quality control and make sure everything is on-brand, on time and inside the budget.
:: I worked in Hong Kong for 3 years, so I have experience creating campaigns for APAC regional clients including Intel, Prudential, Philips, HSBC Markets, Fortune Magazine, Remy Fine Wines and more recently Cochlear and McDonald’s Design and Development Centre (responsible for delivering the brand experience through architecture and interior design).
:: I have also worked client-side as the sole creative inside a marketing department and managed multiple stakeholders (campaign managers, product managers, event managers, engagement managers and a global brand council), single-handedly producing multiple campaigns for multiple touchpoints from concept to despatch.
